Muhammed Kahraman , a mining engineer, got his BS in Mining Engineering from Middle East Technical University in Turkey with an honor degree and ranked second in the Department of Mining Engineering.
He started his Masters Ph.D. studies in the Earth Resources Science and Engineering program at Colorado School of Mines. He is currently a Research and a Teaching Assistant at Colorado School of Mines. He is involved in a project with the CDC and NIOSH in the US.
His research area focuses on applying new technologies to improve mine safety and health ,Battery Electric Vehicles ,Ventilation on Demand using Discrete-Event Simulation.
He is expert in Mine optimization, mine simulation, and equipment selection.
